Renzo Zavanella Armchairs in Wood and Velvet

Pair of Mid-Century armchairs designed by designer Renzo Zavanella in the 1950s, of fine Italian manufacture.
The armchairs have a base frame made of a special fine wood, of which two rigid conical feet can be seen at the front, while there is a single large foot at the back.
The yellow-colored velvet armchairs are characterized by a high and narrow backrest but ending at head height in a wide and enveloping manner.
Origin:The armchairs were taken over from a private home, the interior of which was also inspected, photos of which go to ascertain the provenance are available upon request.
