Kikoko's works reflect and transform cosmologies and traditions, from rupestrian signs to interpretations of primitivism and ethnicity, from French eclecticism to manipulations of postexpressionist repertoire, from German bizarre mixture to innocent rendering of Italian lyricism, naive turns, etc. She maintains her own iconic charge, taking pleasure in making it less instinctive and "original" and more as a creative response, approximating forms of street art.
