The pair of rare vintage stools were designed by Gianfranco Frattini for the fine Italian manufacturer Cassina. The stools are model 849/S and were published in the influential Domus magazine. The two stools have different colored seats: one red and the other green. Their fine dark wood frame is characterized by rigid lines contrasting with the soft color of the fabric and the slightly curved seat.
