Separè Mirror by Alain Delon, 1970
Height: 196 cm Width open: 132 cm Width closed: 56 cm Depth: 12 cm
Dressing mirror designed by Alain Delon for Maison Jansen in the 1970s. A brass plaque bearing Alain Delon's signature is inserted on the back of the mirror in the lower right corner. The mirror is made of wood covered with powder-colored fabric that creates a beautiful woven pattern. The mirror is composed of three structural parts: the central one that is fixed and the two side parts that can be opened and closed; behind each mirror is a gold-plated brass hanger. The central mirror is crowned with a mirrored glass shell, the iconographic signature of Alain Delon. The contour of the mirror is embellished with perfectly patinated gilt brass inserts.
