The "unupholstered armchair" designed by Magistretti in 1981 for Cassina born from the idea of dressing the armchair with a blanket. A very innovative project, versatile because it can be undressed and adapted to aesthetic but also thermal needs.
The structure, supported by a black lacquered beech base, is in polyurethane foamed steel covered with polyester wadding.
Sindbad received the following awards in 1982:
