North European walnut coffee table, 1950s

This low coffee table from Northern Europe is from the ‘50s. The low table is entirely made in wood. The table top has beautiful wood grain patterns and has a particular shape with the sides rising a little. Those two wings have a different grain pattern from the main part of the top. This effect seems to help central pattern stand out. The table as peculiar structure: the legs don’t touch the top, which rests on a wooden frame that detaches it.
