FontanaArte Vintage asymmetric suspended console in glass, 1950s

The Italian vintage console was produced by FontanaArte in the 50s. The mark is present.

The suspended console is asymmetrical and made of panes of thick vintage glass on a steel structure. The thickness of the glass makes the edges iridescent, while the inner part of the glass is a shade of pink in the vertical panes and transparent on the horizontal one. The latter has a trapezoidal shape, so it protrudes differently at the sides: one side is shorter than the other.

It’s a beautiful and elegant console that would provide an eye-catching point to the room. Ideal for living rooms and halls.
