Ercole Barovier

Splendid vintage Murano glass floor lamp designed by Ercole Barovier in the 1930s, of fine Italian manufacture.

The lamp is made entirely of Murano glass and features a very intricate workmanship: the lamp is composed of a riot of decorative elements that create a cascading effect. The decorative elements feature an intricate workmanship of Murano glass.

The base of the lamp by Ercole Barovier is made of wood and is round. From the base starts a stem, also in Murano, which intertwines two main strands. A brass element connects to a semi-curved plate that houses three lights. After the plate, the stem continues to climb up to a semi-sphere structure that houses the main light and from which the ten thin elements depart.
