Extendible Table for Cassina Mod. "778", 1967

Beautiful table commissioned to the couple of designer for the Cassina manufacture in 1967.
Model "778". The sturdy table was made entirely of walnut wood. The peculiarity of the table is that it is extendable, its extension is made by lifting one half of the top and sliding horizontally the lower half of the top; this movement is made possible by two metal rails that guide small plastic wheels that are fixed to the top.The table is square in shape, but by extending it it becomes rectangular.
