Amber Murano Glass Chandelier with Blue Edges by Cappellin, 1930

Wonderful vintage Murano glass chandelier designed by Cappellin for MVM in the 1930s, fine Italian craftsmanship.

The vintage Murano glass chandelier is totally made of amber colored Murano glass. The stem internally has a brass structure in patina, covered in Murano glass with sinuous shapes that give in a round circle in Murano glass blue very bright and fascinating. The stem is fixed in a brass base covered in glass, which ends with a finely worked tip.

From the base start 6 smaller stems in Murano glass finely curved and beautifully worked, which close each in a bell, bell-shaped finished with a blue glass that follows the edges of the bell, wonderfully elegant. Each bell holds a single light, for a total of 6 bells for 6 lights.

Also from the base arise six thin strands of amber glass that creates very beautiful and eccentric curls, each of which displays a drop-shaped Murano glass diamond.
